Dear BHS Instrumental Families,

It is that time of year again! Time for our annual Instrumental Fundraiser! We are pleased to announce that we are bringing back the digital format that was so successful last year. We are hosting an Opportunity Drawing on GalaBid. There will be a drawing to win a grand prize of a family 4-pack of 2-day Park Hopper tickets to Disneyland (Anaheim). It will be coupled with a $500 Disney gift card to be used at the winners discretion. There will also be a few miscellaneous items bundled inside, bringing the estimated cost of the grand price to about $2,500! Each ticket purchased will enter you to win a single time. Want more chances to win? Purchase more tickets! Each ticket is $20, making it more than worth the price of a single ticket!

We are also hosting a new set of items titled “Cover a Coach!”. These buy-it-now style items are designed to give patrons a slightly more tangible item to put their money towards. Like the sounds of our top groups? A lot of work goes into making the groups sound that good. Mr. Bausman and Mr. Kollias work closely with some professionals in the industry and hire them as Coaches to work with the kids. Sponsoring a coach for a month allows us to hire them back each month. If anybody would like to sponsor a coach, those tabs are available. We have about 7 coaches per month working with the kids, for 10 months out of the year. Also, back by popular demand, is our donation tab if anybody would like to donate to the programs directly.

No matter how you choose to donate, every little bit helps and we are greatly appreciative of everything we receive. We are asking that every student be responsible for 5 tickets (at $20 apiece, that makes it $100 in fundraising) for the fundraiser. We are NOT asking you to buy these tickets (although you may do so if you wish; that Disneyland Package looks really good!!), but to actively engage and participate in the fundraiser by attempting to get the word out there and sell 5 tickets. If you or your family happens to sell (or chooses to sponsor) a Cover s Coach, that takes care of your portion. I have attached a few files to help you in getting the word out there. Some PDF files of the flyer with a handy QR code, as well as some resized PNG files for social media postings and emails, as well as direct weblinks to send out. The site will be live by the time you receive this letter, so let’s get out there and push our Fundraiser and get some tickets sold over Thanksgiving Break! See you when we get back!
