Instrumental Music Director

Since 2004, Jim Kollias has served as the musical director at Beckman High School, turning it into a remarkable foundry for musical talent with hundreds of students enrolled in orchestra. Jim Kollias started the string program in Tustin Unified in 1994. He also taught at Tustin HS, also guiding that orchestra to Carnegie Hall in 2005.

Concert Master 2022-2023

Music has always been a big part of my life. I have been a member of the Beckman Chamber Orchestra since fall 2019, as well as PSYO, All-state orchestra, and All Southern Orchestras. Following the footsteps of my two older sister, I began my musical education at the age of 7 on the piano, later beginning the violin at the age of 9.
